WPFPD has the following openings:

There are currently no openings for Full-time, Part-time or Reserve Personnel.

 

We do accept applications for these positions at any time. These applications will be held for a period of one year, at which time a new application could be resubmitted.

Minimum Qualifications for Employment:

• Current Missouri licensed or Nationally Registered Paramedic or EMT

• Firefighter I certificate by the state of Missouri or Pro-Board

Educational Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements: The Firefighter/ EMT /Paramedic must be able to pass the district’s physical agility test and must actively participate in the physical fitness program.

Description of Duties:

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency alarms

• Daily and weekly station and apparatus maintenance

• Basic maintenance of emergency apparatus

• Drive and operate the pump on fire apparatus

• Participate in district training and sponsored CEU program
