About the District
The West Peculiar Fire Protection District covers 42 square miles. There are 34 floor personnel (6 per shift). Full-time employees are on a 48/96 schedule. Part-time employees usually work 24-hr shifts. All first response apparatus is ALS-equipped and staffed.
